The Nevada Institute for Renewable Energy Commercialization (NIREC) is dedicated to accelerating the commercialization of clean energy solutions. NIREC accomplishes this by providing the vital combination of funding, business expertise and collaborative networks to validate the technology, evaluate its market competitiveness and achieve market entry. Through their work, they strengthen the nation’s clean energy innovation ecosystem, foster the growth of the nation’s technology-based economy and ultimately, stimulate knowledge-based employment.
